ColourPop Send Nudes Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

Send Nudes
ColourPop Send Nudes 9-Pan Shadow Palette (Plastic) ($12.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a warm-toned neutral color story that included six mostly matte eyeshadows coordinated with three shimmer shades. It was one of the better color stories released for Target as it had a good mix of depth across the shades, making it more versatile.
The formulas for the eyeshadows in the palettes made for Target seemed slightly different than the brand’s average formula. The shimmers were more loosely-pressed and a little dry, which made them more prone to fallout during application and using a firmer, flatter brush and/or fingertip seemed to help them adhere more evenly. The matte shades seemed less powdery compared to the brand’s typical mattes and slightly thinner, though in a neutral way, as they seemed to apply evenly and blend out without issues overall.

The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.
